Tahini Date Bars

- 20 pitted dates
- 2 cups toasted almonds
- 1/4 cup tahini paste
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 4 oz chocolate, melted
Instructions
- In a food processor with the S blade, process the almonds until they look like a paste.
- Add the pitted dates, tahini paste, and salt to the food processor, and process until a sticky, crumbly batter is formed. Avoid over-processing, as this can cause the batter to become oily.
- Transfer the batter into an 8×8 inch pan and flatten it with a spatula. Chill the pan in the refrigerator for 3-5 hours.
- Once the bars have chilled, remove the pan from the refrigerator and cut the batter into 16 bars.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over the bars.
